Win a Conference Pass to #Blogalicious8

It’s that time of year again! No, not PSL season. No, not Fall TV premiere week. It’s Blogalicious time! We are once again a proud Media Partner for this amazing conference. And of course that means we have a discount code + giveaway! More on that later, first let’s take a look at this year’s conference.

Blogalicious is the premiere social media network for multi-cultural influencers. It boasts a community of thousands of women celebrating diversity in social media. Since 2009, the network has hosted the Blogalicious Weekend, a diverse gathering of social entrepreneurs, influencers, and brands brought together for learning and growth.

This year #Blogalicious8 will be held November 3-5 in Atlanta, GA at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead. The theme of the conference is #ContentIsLife. And we just love, love, love what the Blogalicious team has to say about their inspiration for this year’s theme:

“In a recent issue of ESSENCE magazine, there was a quote from Chris Rock that said: ‘A boring life makes for horrible content.

It reminded us of something that Tsh Oxenreider of The Art of Simple said at the BlissDom Conference some years ago that stuck: ‘If you want your blog to be interesting, you must live an interesting life. She was reminding us not to obsess over ALL OF THE THINGS that stress us out when it comes to our blogs. The charge was clear: live a life filled with experiences and inspiration and the content will flow.”

  1. Content is life — that sums up neatly in a nutshell why I’ve been blogging since 2009 and can’t see myself ever retiring. That’s because creating content has opened up my eyes to so many cool products and experiences I would have probably never had the opportunity to enjoy and share with MBE’s like-minded readers.

  2. I wish that One2One would offer more live broadcast conferences through Facebook or online website. I attended the online conference Hello Live via Facebook because I could not attend it in person. It was a great experience for me as a blogger. I’d be willing to pay again for more online webinar conferences like that one I attended. Many of us bloggers whether financially, jobs, or family cannot attend these various conferences that One2One all over the states.
    Just an idea worth exploring.

  3. Lately, I’ve been thinking about my content and how I feel like I’ve lost myself, my voice, in SEO and analytics. I’m already working on bringing it back to LIFE and would love the opportunity to learn and grow at #Blogalicious8!

  4. Without content, there would be no blogging.

  5. #ContentisLife is how I feel about my blog. It’s what I think of when I follow my gut and write. I write about my life and share it on social media. My content is my life.

  6. Hi, Blogalicious is an awesome conference! #ContentIsLife theme inspires because i blog about whats going on in my life. My content is my life! Thanks for the chance!

  7. Karen Bellomy says:

I love the idea that if you just live life to its fullest it will inspire you I also find that the simplest of things can be very inspirational A babys belly laugh a cuddle from a kitten a good laugh fest with a friend all these things inspire me

  8. The theme inspires me to share my personal stories and life with my readers. Our content is shared and viewed by our readers so they can get a glimpse of our own lives. I love sharing this through video.

  9. #ContentisLife inspires me to write the most facinating but truthful content I can create to help engage my readers.

  10. The #ContentIsLife theme inspires me to be me. It reminds me that the content I create is a part of my life because it is my life for me to share with the world.

  11. #contentislife – exactly! If I’m not away from the computer, having fun with my guys, then I’m not living. Not living leads to nothing, whereas living does. Simple life enjoyments are ripe for content to share – from watching the birds and squirrels in the morning to cooking and cleaning to reading books with the boys. While I enrich their lives, they’re enriching mine, thus, content! 🙂

  12. The #ContentIsLife theme inspires me to remember that our life is the best content for our blogs. I know I love to read blogs that are personal, so I try to remember that when I am writing content myself.
