Featured Member Interview: Tara R.

We’re thrilled to introduce you to Tara of Tara’s View of the World! Tara has been blogging since 2006 and also keeps a second blog about books, Tara’s View on Books. She is married, has three children, and lives in Ontario, Canada. Tara has attended BlissDom Canada for the past two year, has plans to go this year’s conference, and was also able to attend BlissDom in Nashville this past February for the first time!

With Summer being here, we wanted to know, what does summertime mean for Tara? (Is it a break, no change in schedule, more hectic, less hectic, etc?) What summer things do you look forward to? (pool time, vacations, certain foods, etc?) Tara says, “Summertime is chaotic with the change in schedule but we love the warm weather and being able to spend lots of time outside and visiting the local parks and lakes.”

I’m known forbeing real. I have a dreadful inability to fake it even when I would really like to.

I’m working onfinding some peace and quiet.

10 years from now Iwill be the parent of a 20 year old man with Autism, an 18 year old man and a 15 year old young woman and that scares the crap out of me.

I’m currently addicted tothe internets. Of course.

I find joythe people I love

My secret ambitionworld domination (just kidding. mostly.)

I can’t do withoutsleep.

I’m most creativewhen I am calm and peaceful

I admiresuccessful women who handle the chaos of their lives calmly and treat others with grace and do not pretend to be perfect.

When I grow up I want to know what I’m going to be when I grow up

PC or Mac? Mac

iPhone or Droid? iPhone (not that I have either because I am deprived)

Coffee or Tea? Tea

Peanut butter – crunchy or smooth? smooth!

Three words my friends would use to describe me are: I wasn’t sure how to answer this question so I did an informal pole of my friends this morning and these were the 3 words that came back the most often- reliable, hardworker, generous. I rock.
