Tailgate Party Experiment – Wisk to the Rescue!

After our fun with protein stains in the last Wisk (with Stain Spectrum Technology) experiment, we got to try our hand at getting out carbs.

Tailgate style. With ketchup. I know you are cringing. Maggie at Dexter’s Super Savvy Mommy and her son took on the task.

And I couldn’t resist posting about them, since cartoon Dexter is one of my favorite scientists! How fitting!

After Dexter got ketchup on the shirt, I wiped the excess off with a dry washcloth. I then poured on the Wisk and rubbed on the ketchup for about 15-20 seconds. I then let the Wisk penetrate the stain for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes elapsed, I rinsed the shirt in warm water and presto, the stain was gone!

He’s so cute and seems like he’s got this science experiment down or at least the cute factor!

We have lots of other scientists at work.  See how Anne’s little one works her magic too at Mommy Needs to Work!

Tell us what your worst stain nightmare is!

  1. Pen marks are the bane of my laundry. I’ve been told over and over again to use hairspray but it never seems to work.

  2. You know what’s a useful tailgating item? Snack Palette (http://www.SnackPalette.com) makes serving food a lot easier, and it really works. People love them and it allows folks to socialize more, so I use it for all my tailgate gatherings. Also helps pump up the “fun factor” in tailgating (no, I don’t work for them…lol).
