About the Founder



Barbara Jones
is a 20-year veteran of the music business, building an extensive career in marketing, sales and distribution.    Most recently, she was SVP and Head of Marketing for Columbia Records, where she oversaw a multi-million dollar marketing budget  for the #1 market share record label in the U.S.  She directed efforts on a wide range of marketing campaigns for established artists such as Dixie Chicks, Bruce Springsteen and John Mayer to developing artists like Brandi Carlile, Teddy Geiger, and Boys Like Girls.   She previously held SVP Marketing titles at Warner Bros. Records and Maverick Recording Company.

As a seasoned marketer in the entertainment industry, Barbara noticed there was lack of external resources when it came to marketing to the most influential consumer demographic: adult women.    In June '07, at a turning point in her career and with her youngest of three children turning one year old, she decided it was time to consider launching her own company to not only help fill that marketing-to- women void but also to attain a more manageable work/life balance.  

In Fall of '07, she founded Intuition Marketing, a marketing and consulting company geared towards women and moms.   In January '08, Intuition Marketing created a new division called One2One Network- the Women's Word of Mouth Marketing Network.

Barbara used her vast marketing expertise and grass roots experience to create and develop One2One Network, which consists of a network of thousands of women in the 21-70+ age range who choose to selectively promote brand products and services using an authentic one-to-one approach in well over 100 markets in the U.S.  

Barbara insists that the goal of the Network is to be as fun and rewarding for its Members as it is effective for its clients.

Barbara has a B.A. in Communications from Southern Methodist University and taught a Music Business class at UCLA's Extension Program.   She also has experience doing speaking engagements focused on marketing to women, word of mouth marketing and partnerships merging music and sports.
