Jeannine is the blogger behind My Bits and Bleeps, she’s a mom of one daughter, she’s from Canada, and has been blogging since last August. Her birthday is today; Happy Birthday, Jeannine! After you get to know a little more about her here, go over and wish her a “happy birthday!”, too.
What do you like best about working with brands?
Much like what you have posted under Member Benefits “receive free products, exclusive offers, discounts, freebies and special perks from the companies and brands that want to introduce you to their newest products to drive awareness, engagement and if you love it – spread the word amongst your social circle.” Pretty much that sums it up. I really enjoy feeling connected with the brands I use and love. I like knowing that my voice / my opinion matters and is being heard, and that it may cause change; perhaps, improvements! Of course, being a part of the wonderful world of social media is super fun!
At Blissdom, we featured a Community Vision Board for 2011. What is your vision for this year?
My blog vision for this year is to increase my followership, and learn how to turn my blog into an income-generating one. I’ll be attending the Blissdom Canada 2011 Conference to learn everything I can; more importantly to make new connections and meet some of my existing social media friends.
How do you create community with your blog readers and those you interact with online?
I really value the friendships that I’ve made through my blog and through Twitter. In any part of my life, I believe that “what you do will come back to you” … so I live with that in mind … I always help everyone I can, I encourage everyone in a positive way, and I support those I can.
Who have been your blogging mentors? and/or Who do you look up to or draw inspiration from?
Oh, that’s a tough one. There are so many wonderful bloggers who have inspired me, helped me, befriended me, encouraged me, and challenged me. It would be horrible if I were to forget to mention any of them, so I hesitate to mention any. I am grateful for all of this and always try to, in turn, do the same for others (sometimes even the very same bloggers!) I thank them all. Suffice it to say, we can all learn something from one another!
Thank you, Jeannine for being a One2One Network Member! We look forward to seeing what you do with your blog and we’ll see you in Canada! We hope you have an extraordinary birthday!
