1. What do you like best about working with brands?
I enjoy building relationships with brands, especially when brands realize that I am a person with a family and a story, and not just a consumer. I love it when a brand values my opinion, not just my money. Brands win my loyalty when they show that customer care is a top priority, and that they are about building relationships as well.
2. At Blissdom, we featured a Community Vision Board for 2011. What is your vision for this year?
My vision for 2011 is health and wellness for the whole person. My blog has become health and wellness focused, not just to share my journey to healthy living, but to share that anyone in any stage of life can focus on physical, mental and spiritual health.
3. How do you create community with your blog readers and those you interact with online?
I go where my followers are. If they prefer Facebook, I post & interact there. If they prefer Twitter, or RSS, or e-mail, I go there. I also love promoting others, sharing awesome content that I’ve discovered, and basically “paying it forward.”
4. Who have been your blogging mentors? and/or Who do you look up to or draw inspiration from?
I admire Alli Worthington because she has brilliant ideas and knows how to empower others. I admire Carla, @Mizfitonline, because she is full of authenticity, integrity and awesomeness. And I draw inspiration from Leah Segedie and the entire #Mamavation Sistahood because they are fellow moms who love their families and want what’s best for them.
